Site Updates: New Layout MIA? Galang

by xangelo on May 25th, 2009

Well it’s not completely done.. heck it’s no where even near being something I can use, but I have been working on a layout in my free time to replace the default one. I even managed to recruit Imdolien from Nookish to help create a new layout for it, but between us we have no time, so I’m thinking about scrapping the original project and just finishing up the layout that I currently have.

At any rate, here’s a couple layout designs I came up with while working out ideas for the new FeetHaveBeen layout, so I thought I’d toss up some screens for all of you to check out. If you like them, I may put up links to the PSD.

DesignIT is a company that doesn’t actually exist to my knowledge, it’s just the default company I’ve always kinda used for layouts that aren’t directly for something I’ll be using.

  1. Yay, you finally got the hang of that colour highlight thing I used to whine about so often :D

And I am so totally sorry about crapping out on that layout. Seriously, if you want it you can have what I’ve done and just throw whatever on it. Or… yell at me until I finish :P whichever works faster.

Out of those two I have to say I love layouts with green, and you’ve used shades I like. But I like that the blue one has such a punch of colour with the header.

We can’t get too adult-ish! We have to keep the Nook and our site projects going. And finish some things in some of them!

Haha don’t worry about it, I’ve been rather busy myself, if you noticed the complete lack of updates ;) For the past week I’ve had a tooth-ache so I haven’t really had much time to work on the layout itself, but I’m still mulling over idea’s in my head..

Also, thanks ;) I’ve been working hard on trying to pump my skills to meet yours ;) I think I’m still lagging a bit, but I’ll get there eventually, since I’m more of a programmer anyways.
